Booking was easy and problem free, equipment arrived and was set up quickly and with no drama, service was exemplary from start to finish. Attendants were friendly, encouraging and helpful and had the grace to not laugh at me when I freaked out a metre off the ground and went no further. How much space do I need for a mobile climbing wall?
Climbing Wall Specification. Access to the event & weather. The Mobile Climbing Wall is mounted on a hydraulic trailer and towed by a Ford Ranger Pickup, access to the site is the responsibility of the Client. Specifications: Trailer Weight: 1850kgs Length: 8.4 meters Width: 2.4m Height (while on trailer) 2.9m Vehicle Weight: 2100kgs. Length: 5.4 meters Width: 2.2m Height 1.9m Total length: 13.9 meters Access through gates/entrances must allow adequate width and have a wide enough turning into the access from the road. Sitting equipment for the Event The site required needs to be a total of 18meters long by 7meters wide. This includes the vehicle, trailer and drop safety zones from the Climbing Wall The climbing wall cannot be moved once erected. The Mobile Climbing Wall can be erected on either grass or hard standing if it is within the level parameters. Level Parameters: Level from left to right maximum drop of 7.5cm over 2m lengths Level from back to front maximum drop of 7.5cm over 1m lengths There must be no overhead obstructions below 9meters Weather Requirements The Climbing Wall will be operational in winds up to 25 mph and/or light rain, heavy rain makes the wall too slippery to climb on. If the winds are strong we may need to face the wall into the wind as it is curved and will be affected less this way. If there is evidence of a Thunderstorm within sight or sound the equipment will be closed and all persons must move away from the area until the thunderstorm has past. Climber Requirements. Climbers must be over 1.06m (3ft 6ins) in height Climbers must weigh between 19kg (3st) and 114kgs (18st) Climbers must wear closed toe footwear Climbers must wear appropriate clothing
How much space do i need for Archery?
Our archery Package requires a grassy area 10m wide by 20m deep to operate on, with an overshoot area beyond the safety net of 80m.
