We are a family run street food and event catering company specialising in free range and locally sourced spit roasted, wood smoked and barbecued meats. We have built a reputation for creating big, bold and flavourful food. With years in the catering and events industry we have always had a passion for real food made from real ingredients, coupled with our love of travel and inspired by street food from far out places we formed Hott Mess to offer these flavours back here in Blighty.

What services do you offer?
We offer event catering for private and public events. The food we offer varies from client to clients however we have years of experience catering BBQs, Hog and lamb roasts, hot and cold buffets, canapes as well as fine dining for dinner parties.
Do you offer a venue for the banquet?
There are a number of venues we can recommend as well as partnerships with beautiful marquees.
Do you cook in the same location as the banquet?
We may do some prep in our private professional kitchen with the remainder finished at the event but this may differ with the event.
Is it possible to adapt/modify the menu?
Yes, absolutely!
What kind of cuisine do you offer?
We are really flexible but our most poplar cuisine types are traditional British, South American, Greek and Caribbean
What is included in the menu?
We will always encourage our clients to work with us on the menu to ensure it is personal and right for them.

As big food lovers ourselves we think that great street food shouldn't be exclusive. Hott Mess attends local farmers markets and food festivals as well as catering for small parties, weddings and corporate events large and small. We never provide any food that we wouldn't happily pay for ourselves. We believe strongly that quality food should be available to all so we ensure that we always provide the fairest possible quotes tailored to your specific needs. With years of experience working in professional kitchens we are extremely versatile in the food we provide with taste being the most important thing. Hott Mess will always offer extensive menu tasting for engaged couples looking for a wedding caterer. Everything we provide will be with the customer in mind and we will always tailor a menu. We also have a fully licensed and stocked bar with a changeable drinks menu. We provide food and drink for any occasion with the focus being on great food priced fairly.
