We are Cornwall's only Authentic Mexican Van, we love a bit of a buzz, don't mind the hard work and most of all serve food that is unforgettable and authentic. Carla is a trained chef and being Mexican in origin has all the provenance behind her to serve a dish that stops you in your tracks. Juan has a background in renewable energy and science but has followed his personal passion for food to the point of meeting Carla. Together we are El Huichol, serving some of the most beautiful tacos to have ever hit these shores.

    Catering for private events, weddings, commercial events, office parties, house parties

  • Do you cook in the same location as the banquet?

    Yes. We are street food vendors. If you're looking for the live vibe that they bring to events, we're it.

  • Is it possible to adapt/modify the menu?

    As open minded and straight talking folk, we are open to discussion on most points but if theres something we aren't able to provide we'll let you know up front

  • What kind of cuisine do you offer?

    Mexican and for small Private parties we offer set menus or sharing menus of : Middle Eastern, Italian, African as well as Mexican.

  • Do you offer special menus?

    Yes. We work together with you to make every menu special

  • Do you also offer a wedding cake?

    This can be arranged by prior discussion

  • How does the open bar work?

    We do not offer open bar, but we know one of the best bars in Cornwall, let us know if you need help!

  • What is included in the menu?

    Please see a few examples of what we can offer below: Traditional Street Style Food such as tacos, gringas plus we offer sides such as guacamole, totopos.
