Chris attended my sons engagement party and was a massive hit with all of the guests. He worked non stop for the whole time we had booked him and produced fantastic accurate caricatures. I booked Chris for my wedding this weekend and wasn't disappointed. Chris and his assistant were both very professional and friendly. the guests loved there pictures and we all had abit off a chuckle at them all worth doing as it ment my guests werent just sitting around bored until they were fed pretty cheap to for wedding entertainment he was abit rushed as he'd booked another do afterwards and had to be gone by a certain time no exceptions so was a little annoyed that he didnt make it round to every 1 but most got done and we all got a laugh comparing his pictures

"We hired Chris for our Christmas party, he worked tirelessly for the full 3 hours providing great characatures and much hilarity. Working from photos worked really well meaning he could drawer whilst we were eating and partying but still have the pleasure of watching the progress of his amazing pictures.

He managed I don't know how many drawings in such a short space of time and the likeness he managed to capture was uncanny, you know exactly who they are by his drawings. Communicated well, however after booking a time slot, a request was made to come earlier, then another message was received to say he may be later than the original time booked.
He didn’t seem to enjoy ‘people’ and as much as the drawings were entertaining, they all came out looking miserable. Despite a certain style being delivered, a more positive outcome would have been welcomed.
Chris was punctual, efficient and created some amazing pictures for the team at our staff Christmas party from photos and individuals sitting for him

Good communication with Chris prior to event, although due to wedding running overtime, an emergency requiring an ambulance, Chris having trouble finding hotel and then having another commitment not sure how many guests did get ther caricatures done, those that did I think were happy.

Chris arrived with plenty of time to spare and we discussed how I'd prefer him to undertake his drawings. I had thought that guests would prefer to sit for the drawings but it worked well that Chris was able to photograph guests so they could continue to enjoy the party whilst Chris did their drawing. Chris uses charcoal so the drawings are much more detailed than those done in pen. The end products were of great detail and quality and overall guests were happy with the likeness...they really were fantastic. Chris' verbal interaction with guests was limited but the drawings spoke for themselves.
Chris wasn’t very friendly and I think that may have been a language barrier. He refused to mingle and then told me that would cost much more. That said I do think his drawings were
great and people seemed happy with them.

Didn’t communicate once received deposit had to chase him up a couple of times. Then when I heard from him he was asking for more than the initial quote that I was given. Once I showed him the invoice and quote then realised. Offered me over 3 hours of service on here however once arrived as soon as it was 3hrs he stopped and wasn’t willing to finish off the drawing he was doing until we spoke to his partner and she managed to get him to agree to finish off his drawing as some of our guests got upset. Overall, he’s good at the sketches and his partner was great.

The guests don’t have to pay for the drawings. Each caricature I draw at the event is included in the original booking fee, so people can enjoy the act and receive a caricature as a keepsake at the end!
Yes. During events like dinner parties or wedding receptions where the guests are likely to be busy eating or socialising, drawing from photographs is often a good idea. With their permission, I take a photo of the guests with an iPad Pro, and draw remotely from photographs.
