Description
My name is Bea from Bea Happy Parties! I am a professional children's entertainer specialising in themed birthday parties and events as well as character visits. I am DBS checked and also have Public Liability Insurance up to 1 million. I am First Aid trained and specialise in events for children and adults with various disabilities. I am based in Milton Keynes but cover Bucks, Beds & Northants.

What experience do you have working with children?
The performing arts has always been a big passion of mine ever since attended stage coach at a young age. Throughout school I was always very active in the theatre, performing, directing and even working as an usher. I then went on to do a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at sixth form. I studied a lot of units on this course but two that really stood out to me and that I excelled in were; Children’s Theatre and TIE (theatre in education). Through my schooling I had always assisted in lessons with younger students, after school or in my free sessions and knew I loved to teach. I decided to spend 4 months in Iringa, Tanzania, Africa where I helped to home, clothe, feed and educate around 230 orphans. I learnt a lot of valuable teaching skills and life skills in my time there. I have also recently completed my TEFL course meaning I am now a qualified teacher of the English language as well as completing two mindfulness courses, one in teaching and the other in teaching children. All of this cominbened is what has lead me to start Bea Happy Parties. It combines my love for performance and teaching whilst also working with children. I also currently work as teaching assistant/support assistant for children and adults with disabilities! I am first aid and manual handling trained, as well as having just been on an in-depth epilepsy course and currently learning BSL (British Sign Language). I believe that all of this knowledge and training will leave me best equipped to run events for anyone regardless of their needs.

Do you limit the number of children that we can invite to our child's Birthday party?
If the amount of children exceeds 30, more than 1 entertainer will be required.
Set List/Services
BHP party packages include a character of your choice, all party games, equipment and prizes. Glitter tattoos in a range of designs and colours, a party speaker with disco lights, bubbles and balloons plus a personalised birthday gift!
Our themes/characters include: Disney Princess's (Elsa & Anna, Snow White, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Barbie and Tinker-bell as well as Prince Charming and Beast) Superheroes (Batman and Girl, Superman and Girl, Spider-Man and Spider-Girl, Power Rangers, Wonder Woman, Catwoman) Army Cadets, Unicorns, Animals, Pirates as well as a Sports Day theme, Pyjama Party, Beach Party, Fairy's Picnic and others upon request.
We suit all our party games to what the birthday child enjoys doing may that be, dancing, story time, races and competitions, parachute games, classic party games like pass the parcel, musical statues, whats the time Mr. Wolf?, duck duck goose etc. Treasure hunts, tug-o-war or singing. We always add a twist on all our games dependant on your chosen theme.
As well as our party packages we do character visits. Our character visits come in a variety of different forms. When booked to arrive at birthday parties they usually bring out the birthday cake, take photos, interact with the children and deliver a special birthday message. As well as parties we've found ourselves being booked for school fetes, Xmas parties and events, weddings, corporate events, hospital visits, charity fundraisers and family fun days where we can be story-telling, face painting, playing games, balloon modelling, taking part in arts and crafts, posing for photos and many other things.
