Recent review: Halos came to play at our wedding and they were absolutely INCREDIBLE! We really just can't recommend them enough - they totally brought the party for the evening. Both myself and my husband as well as all of our guests had an absolutely incredible time - our guests have talked about it as one of their favourite parts of the day. They were so flexible with their set list and the DJ was just perfect on the evening, playing lots of requests to keep our guests happy. The lead vocalist has to have a shout out - what a voice!! Thanks so much to the Halos for being part of our day and being utterly, utterly brilliant - everyone should book this band!

Recent review: "We booked Debbie Boyd band at quite short notice for our wedding as we'd been let down by our previous band. A friend recommended them and we were not disappointed! From the first moment of contact Debbie's calm, professional manner put us straight at ease. Nothing was too much trouble! We chose our style of music and our first song and due to the late notice and the fact the song wasn't on the first Dance list, we thought our first dance couldn't be sang but would be played as there was no time for it to be rehearsed so we didn't even ask. Once again from the moment the band arrived we didn't need to worry about anything. The band eased in set up and we're ready to play without a hitch. And then the music started, brilliantly, amazingly perfect! For our first dance the band started playing and Debbie started singing and it was just as beautiful as it should have been and a fantastic surprise! Everyone from every generation was on the dance floor, the atmosphere was fantastic! I can't wait until we have the next big family event so we can book you all again Debbie! Jose made the booking process very easy and he was very careful to make sure we had the right kind of mix of instruments and singer to suit us. He sent a long and varied list of song choices. Requests were also encouraged. On the day the band were professional in every way from setting up to performing a whole beautiful range of songs. There was something to suit everyone.This band had just the right mix for us of jazzy, cool music while our guests wanted to eat and talk, but could turn up the volume and liven up the beat at just the right time for some dancing. Plus the band were such lovely guys - friendly and warm and had a great rapport with our guests. We have had great feedback from our guests about how great the band were. Recent review: Daniel and his London Swing & Soul Band played at our wedding last August. We spent absolutely ages looking for the right band, and we were losing heart, until we saw this band in action. Simply awesome. The most amazing repertoire, which was great for us because our guests ranged from 4 to 84, and there was something for everyone, even traditional Jewish wedding dances (which we wanted even though our wedding was not religious in any way). Daniel supplied a jazz trio for the daytime (which was excellent), he played keyboard during the actual ceremony (and it was beautiful), then we opted for an 8 piece band for the reception, which was fabulous. So many of our guests commented afterwards about how much they loved our band. Three of our guests are professional musicians themselves, one teaches at the Royal Academy of Music, and one is musical director for the Ritz hotel in London, and they both said the band was fantastic. PLUS ours was a same-sex wedding, and it was important for us to feel comfortable with everyone involved. Daniel is really lovely, and it was a pleasure to have him be such a big part of our perfect day. Recent review: After discovering Check One Music, we were desperate to have them at our wedding. Their medley video really caught our eye and they didn’t disappoint! What a fantastic performance and a great way to finish our big day. We’ll never forget their performance of David Bowie’s “Heroes” for our first dance – it was such a good choice. They turned up so promptly and got set up with no hassle or hand holding, whilst the rest of the wedding continued. All our guests were buzzing for the band and the atmosphere was great, everyone was on the dance floor dancing and singing along. We would highly recommend them for anyone for their wedding or party. We’re already looking for the next excuse to have them play for us again.
