The Amycrofters Band is led by Andrew on accordion. He is a very experienced dance musician. The band has been delighting Ceilidh and Barn dancers since 2002. Andrew is accompanied by his wife June, who plays keyboard and banjolele. She adds further rhythm, phrasing and variety to the sound of the accordion.
The couple often play as a duo. This makes them less expensive and more flexible than larger groups. With their lively foot tapping, varied sound, this is a popular option with organisers. If required the Amycrofters are fortunate to be able to call on the services of other talented instrumentalists, such as violinists, and mandolin, banjo and guitar players. They are then known as the Amycrofters Plus.
The band provides full PA equipment tailored to the needs of the event, however large or small. We provide our own stage lighting if necessary. Equipment is safety tested and the band has full public liability insurance. Stage setup and ...

I am planning an involvement event for patients detained in a Nottingham low secure hospital (NHS). One of our event themes is diversity and having looked at your act on the website, we feel it would fit the bill perfectly as you seem to offer a wide range of styles. We are looking to have maybe a 45 minute set, but this is negotiable, to take place mid-afternoon after the main part of the event. Please could you give me an idea of how much this would cost and if you would be available on this day?
Hello, my partner and i are looking for a string quartet to perform at our wedding, for around 2-3 hours.
The wedding venue is creeksea place in Essex.
The ceremony will take place at the church across the road, where we would ideally like you to play whilst people would be being seated, then for the entrance & exit.
Then, everyone will walk over to the Manor House, where again we would like you to play in the gardens whilst everyone is enjoying a celebratory drink!
Thanks in advance

We booked the BVB for our wedding in April at Stonehouse Court. We specified Celtic music and they were excellent – they even learned a song for me to sing with them in two weeks flat! True musicians who really know their stuff. They were punctual and did not skimp on time – not taking lengthy breaks between songs which I know some do. A really great experience – I thoroughly recommend them.
