Recent review: """Blag were absolutely brilliant and exactly what we were after. This was a big corporate party for a young audience and they were fun and a modern take on a ceilidh band. I highly recommend them for any event as they would be great regardless of audience."""
Wraggle Taggle Ceilidh Band
Recent review: Mick and the band were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. When they arrived they had to make do with a slightly smaller area than originally expected but there were no complaints and they just got on with it and put on a brilliant performance, everyone who attended the party commented that the band really made it a great night!

Spring Heeled Jacks
Recent review: The Spring Heeled Jacks were absolutely fantastic. They fitted in with our wedding schedule seamlessly, setting up in the background unnoticed. They provided brilliant entertainment, pitching it just right for our very novice group of dancers ranging from 2-80. They also played a couple of traditional Irish songs for us that we requested which had sentimental value and went down really well. The band also stayed a bit longer as everyone was having such a good time which was very kind. Would thoroughly recommend them!
Recent review: These guys were fabulous. Really helped to make our day special. Lots of compliments from our guests. They played songs at our wedding ceremony at leatherhead registry office and then came back to our house to entertain us and our guests in our garden! The guys were very obliging and wonderful musicians. Highly recommend - thanks Newick Folk!!!! 👍👍
Recent review: Absolute were fantastic! Their professionalism made everything incredibly easy for us. They made the day extra special learning secret songs to surprise my bride and their Irish set was simply brilliant. The whole wedding loved them. I couldn't recommend them enough. 10/10

Everyone got up and danced, it was such fun and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for an amazing evening!
Josie - Electric & Acoustic Fiddle (Violin), Flute: Rock, Pop, Folk, Irish & more
Recent review: Josie performed for us for a corporate St Patrick's Day celebration event. She was brilliant; thoroughly professional and detail focused in the run up, and went down a storm on the night. She was keen to get the music balance right and we had a mix of traditional Irish music with more contempoary rock and pop. Highly recommend!
Recent review: The Stomping Boondocks were fantastic! So glad we were able to have them at our a wedding. They got even the most awkward people dancig and everyone raving about how much fun they had had! We're even trying to find another event we can get them at! Highly highly recommend!
BLACK VELVET BAND - Ceilidh, Irish & Hoedown
Recent review: The band were great and everyone had a good time joining in with the dancing. I was told that the caller was “dry as the Aticama desert” but unfortunately a few of my guests and myself included felt he came across as a little rude on occasions. Also I know it’s traditional that men dance with women but I have quite a few male friends in same sex relationships and there were a couple of occasions where this wasn’t taken into consideration. Maybe just referring to partners 1 and 2 would have been more inclusive for a less traditional crowd. However, the music was great and the callers direction and instruction was very clear. He made the dances easily understood for people of all ages and abilities so we didn’t get in to many tangles. Communication with Mike before the party was great and they all arrived in plenty of time to set up without any problems. It was a great night and I really enjoyed my first ever Barn Dance!
