Avarice are a rock and party duo, comprising live vocals, lead guitar and bass guitar, played to high-quality backing tracks. We play a wide variety of popular rock and party classics, including artists such as Bryan Adams, Blondie, Journey, Guns'n'Roses, Katy Perry, Pink, Green Day, Kings of Leon, B52's, Neil Diamond, Joan Jett and many, many more. As a duo, we are more compact, more economical and can be far more flexible with our volume than most larger bands, without compromising on quality. Our standard format is 2 x 1 hour sets with a break, but we are happy to negotiate this according to your needs. We can provide a party playlist for between our sets, and after we finish (for up to 60 minutes) as part of our package, so you can be sure the party will continue uninterrupted! For weddings, we can also learn a first dance as part of our package (subject to conditions). Avarice come equipped with lights, lasers and stage effects, and also hold PL Insurance for up to £1m.

King Of Swing - Jazz Duo - 1.5 Hours

Chris will perform 1hr 30mins of jazz standards and swing classics accompanied by a pianist or guitarist depending on your preference. Sets will include an excellent selection of the finest jazz standards as sung by the legends of the genre such as Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and many more. Sets can be tailored to suit requirements and Chris can also learn one song free of charge if desired. Chris and your selected musician will arrive to your event and set up when necessary (usually before guests arrive provided this is within reason). They will then perform the agreed number of sets with breaks and background music in between. This is the perfect package for any wedding reception, corporate event or dinner party looking for a classy touch with that authentic jazz feel. If you want a real smooth atmosphere with gorgeous jazz sounds then this is the one for you.

Jukebox Duo - 2 Hours

We are very flexible and can design the entertainment to fit the exact needs of your event. The quote given is for a duo (male vocalist and acoustic guitarist with backing vocals) playing up to 2 hours of live music. We can also add a drummer/percussionist and a bassist if you want a full band. The additional musicians will be an extra £220 each. Bear in mind these are just optional extras, our normal line up is the duo like you see in the video. We are both full time working musicians and have years of experience performing all over the country and abroad. We also have excellent equipment and pride ourselves on our professionalism and quality of performance. Our singer Lewis is a exceptional singer having been trained at some of the most prestigious music and performance schools and has spent much of his career performing on theatre shows and also making frequent television performances.

Celtic and World Music Trio

We play all sorts of celtic music from traditional jigs and reels, to contemporary Irish folk rock and many other styles of music from around the world, such as songs by Van Morrison / Ed Sheeran / Eagle Eyed Cherry / Paul Weller / The Pogues / The Waterboys / Thin Lizzy and many others. We can also play gypsy jazz and latin jazz if clients also like those styles. We have our own lighting and sound system which you are welcome to use to play your own music around our live set. Jazz Duo - American Songbook/Soul/Blues - 2 x 50 Minutes

Heavenly Blues is a collaboration between local singer Cylvian Flynn and Pianist and Vocalist Alan Rae. Cylvian has a long track record of singing with local bands like Revo6 and Atelier du Soul as well as her alter ego as Just Tina as which she appeared on Stars in their Eyes. Alan has played keys for Blues Business, Ugly bugs Blues Band and Kitsch n Sync and also fronts local Ceilidh band Newick Folk. We’ve played together quite a bit over the last 10 years – Alan played keyboards for Cylvian in Revo6 and in Just Tina. We've decided to branch out and try something new. Cylvian wants to explore the full range of her voice while Alan has been studying Jazz piano at the Brighton Jazz School for the last 3 years. So we put our talents together to create a cool atmosphere by performing classics from the American Songbook like Autumn Leaves, Every time we say Goodbye and Bye Bye Blackbird topped up with soul classics like Natural Woman and Midnight Train to Georgia with a few bluesy numbers from previous repertoires. This provides a versatile repertoire for your event, be it a sophisticated evening do or a sunny lunchtime. We normally perform 2 x 50 minute sets but other arrangements are possible. We will provide our own pa. All we need is power and somewhere waterproof if we're playing outdoors

Recent review: We didn't get to enjoy The Tom Belbin Trio as much as we would have liked to as we were away being photographed but all of our guests unprompted told us how fantastic the music was! We managed to catch some of the end of the band who played for us during our wedding breakfast welcome drinks outside and they played beautifully, creating a lovely relaxed and fun atmosphere for our guests. Recent review: "Stop your search and book these guys up. They are amazing, I have never seen a more packed dance floor than at our wedding. My wife and I spent an eternity hunting for a wedding band and just couldn't find one that we liked at a price we wanted to pay. Then we stumble across Rhythm of the Night and loved them, and the cost was very reasonable. Craig and Charlotte were very responsive and flexible, answering all our queries. They provided a set list and we let them know which ones we preferred and which we didn't like. On the day, every song was a cracker and they sounded even better than they do in their recordings. Everyone commented on how great they were. Of the 100 guests, there were never more than 10 people sat down, even the grandparents and aunts who never dance were jumping about enjoying themselves.
