This trio of likeminded musicians formed in early 2017, and have already made their mark with their upcoming group. Coming from projects of their own (TEYR, Crossharbour, Céilí Max), Tad Sargent (GUITAR, BOUZOUKI, BODHRAN, VOCALS), James Gavin (FIDDLE, GUITAR) and Dominic Henderson (UILLEANN PIPES, WHISTLES, VOCALS) blend their intrigue with new sounds with the old styles of the music they grew up with.
Born in London, Tad, James and Dominic having grown up playing on the session circuit as accomplished musicians in their own right, and also having taught extensively in their fields, now turn their heads towards hitting stages at events around the country with a new, exciting, and vibrant sound.
Their music has been described as "Ear Candy For The Gods" by Bill Barclay (Director Music at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, and Guardian Columnist).
Between them, the lads have played at venues ranging from the Royal Albert Hall, The Union Chap...

I'm looking for a ceilidh band for our upcoming wedding. I've probably left it too late now but worth checking.
Wedding is 14 Oct 2017 in dunkeld.
We are looking for a band but not necessarily to play a full normal set. We'd like a good few songs that get people going then probably a dj for a bit with the band doing songs in between non ceilidh music. Or like 2 x 30 to 40 mins sets. Or a mix of the above really.
An idea for availability and cost would be perfect.
We would like to organise a ceilidh at the Cuan Mor brewery bar - http://www.cuanmor.co.uk/venue-function-room/ - on 21 February 2016. We will arrive at the bar at around 20hr30-21hr00 and would like music until around 23hr30.
We're getting married in Glasgow 5 mins from the city centre on the 4th March 2017.
I was hoping to surprise my wife to be with a band to restart the party after the break in the evening for about 30 mins. With such a short set I was hoping for an acoustic set to maximise the surprise.
She loves Mariachi bands, as well as the Mariachi covers of modern songs (like the Dorito adverts). Its a bit of a long shot at this late stage and this might not be possible at all. But was just looking for a quote, as you can imagine planning and paying for a wedding is costly!
The venue is German themed, so a german band may work if mariachi isn't available, if they can do covers.
My work Restaurant is holding a local fundraising event in aid to raise as much money for our chosen charity ( maternity unit at Wishaw general hospital ). The date of even will be on Monday 2nd may. We are having a ' family fun day ' which includes face painting and bouncy castle. We are looking for something a bit extra and different and would love to have your balloon making services. We are looking for a quote if possible.
Hi- I am planning to hold a fundraiser country/ folk night. I am looking for a good, up-beat country band with maybe a wee bit Scottish folk thrown in. Usually around £100 people attend. My date is a little flexible.
Wedding in Gretna Green, Solo set with guitar preferably for the ceremony with a set list of songs, prior, walking the isle and signing, and hopefully a set or 2 later at the evening in a nearby hotel free scope for song list, estimate figures for variation of available timings would be appreciated, thanks for feed back.
Melange were absolutely fantastic! They were so friendly, smiley and gave off a great vibe when playing. The standard and range of music was perfect, there was a great progression of styles and tempo, with our guests enjoying sitting and listening as well as dancing. There were smiling faces everywhere. The music was timeless and appealed to all ages. It was a great highlight at our wedding party and we couldn't have asked for more.
Thank you so much and we really hope to have you play again at any future celebrations.
