Formed in 2005, Time to Breathe have worked hard over the last five years to provide a stunning insight into the final ever tour by Pink Floyd as they perform tracks from the extensive set list that made up 'The Division Bell' world tour of 1994.
The tour was captured for posterity in the classic 'PULSE' TV broadcast, CD and eventually, the live dvd filmed at Earls Court, London that contains the only officially released footage of Pink Floyd performing 'Dark Side Of The Moon' in its entirety.
A Time To Breathe concert brings to you a flavour of those ground breaking shows on an ever increasing scale and now in 2010, the band are putting together the finishing touches to their spectacular new show that features the Pink Floyd trademark arched stage rig and large circular projection screen, showing specially commissioned films paying a further tribute to Pink Floyd.
With such attention to detail, everything combines to make the Time to Breat...
Having toured since 2007, The Floyd Effect has become rightly renowned for the remarkable accuracy with which it performs the iconic music of Pink Floyd.
All of the band's members are top quality musicians with pedigrees that stretch across all manner of musical genres, and they faithfully recreate the music and intensity of a Pink Floyd concert without recourse to backing tracks, racks of computers, or other technological wizardry. Every note that you hear is played and sung by the band, making each concert a genuine 'live' experience, powerful, immersive and emotional. Of course, the music is supported by a dramatic light show that incorporates the iconic circular screen, two sets of projections (incorporating some of Pink Floyd's own images and some of the band's own), smoke and lasers. Unless you were there the first time round, the music of Pink Floyd was never as real as this.
I am planning an involvement event for patients detained in a Nottingham low secure hospital (NHS). One of our event themes is diversity and having looked at your act on the website, we feel it would fit the bill perfectly as you seem to offer a wide range of styles. We are looking to have maybe a 45 minute set, but this is negotiable, to take place mid-afternoon after the main part of the event. Please could you give me an idea of how much this would cost and if you would be available on this day?

‘I just wanted to drop a quick email to say how brilliant the band were on Saturday night. They went down a storm and I’ve had so many lovely comments about their professionalism, their talent and their look! I didn’t manage to catch them at the end so please pass on my thanks and say what a great evening it was and thank for their huge contribution towards it. Many thanks and I can highly recommend them to anyone looking for an Abba tribute band’
"What a cracking night of Northern Soul we had yesterday. Sarah's dazzling voice and stage presence, and a top-class band doing full justice to 30+ soul classics and a bit of bonus ska as well! Virtuoso horn trio, tight rhythm section, crisp Fred Perrys! One of the best nights we've had here at the town hall, come back soon!!!
It was the best day of our lives and we wouldn't have been complete without our favourite live band rocking the roof off! We loved the stage presence and how "close" the band got to the crowd. Can't recommend them enough, if you get a chance to see them you need to take it. Love Lovin the 90s
