Recent review: Thank you so much for being able to accommodate us on the wedding of my son! What with atrocious weather causing extensive flooding that weekend and having to postpone the wedding from the Saturday night until the Sunday, we were more than grateful that the band was still willing and able to perform on the Sunday. Great music and excellent calling made the evening, with all participants thoroughly enjoying themselves - sometimes with a little over enthusiasm! I highly recommend this band to any future clients booking. The band were more than helpful - especially Jennie with all my questions and the band on the day were superb. Recent review: We hired the Stomping Boondocks for our wedding reception and they were absolutely fantastic! Most of the guests had never done a ceilidh before but all of them were raving about it after the event. Very responsive with communication before the event also.

Recent review: Kitty’s saxophone performance was perfect for our garden 70th birthday party. It added a fantastic atmosphere to the celebrations and all the guests were very complimentary about Kitty’s performance. Good choice of songs, very professional, also her vocals. Kitty has a lovey personality I would strongly recommend her.

Recent review: My partner Becky organised Pipley Dance and Ceilidh Band for my surprise 30th birthday party and I cannot recommend them highly enough! We had such a brilliant time and the band really made it the perfect celebration. As a group we were mixed abilities and ages, but everyone got involved at some point and we have had so many wonderful comments from guests about how much they enjoyed it! Rachel and the band were so friendly and such talented musicians. Their caller is excellent, offering really clear instructions and was great at making people feel welcome. I have been to a number of ceilidhs over the last few years and I definitely think that they are the best band I have seen. I just hope that we can go to see them again soon! Recent review: We booked Blazing Saddles for my birthday barn dance and they were brilliant. We only had a duo with Tim and Debby which worked out perfectly. The music was excellent and Debby is a great caller who managed to get almost all the guests on the floor to take part in the dancing and, everyone had a great time. Debby was also easy to communicate with and very helpful during the planning stages.

Recent review: "Very good. Only 4 musicians and a caller turned up but was fine. Could have done with some incidental music during dancers' rest breaks perhaps, but overall an excellent evening. The caller was particularly friendly and approachable and yet was still managing to get people to listen and dance, despite temperatures in the high 20s ! Thank you for your help."

Recent review: Blag played a Ceilidh for my 50th Birthday party on Saturday. We had a fantastic time and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The calling was very clear and the music brilliantly played. I specifically wanted an event where young and old, keen and not so keen dancers would all participate and that was achieved to the enjoyment of everyone. Thank you so much. Recent review: Thank you for making our day special. We had Kilcannon for our wedding day in September 2017. Excellent communication and so friendly! I love Irish music so this really made the wedding day feel more special for me. They really created a great atmosphere inside the wedding marquee, I only wish I'd have hired them for a longer set!
