The first Blue Commotion gig in February 2012 was a culmination of a ten-year musical partnership between Zoe Schwarz and guitarist Rob Koral. Through their intense musical journey and compatible desire, they developed a perfect collaboration and empathy, which, when analysed, comes from two completely different starting points. Because of this melting pot of musical diversity, there is a depth and uniqueness to the band's music which is hard to pigeon-hole and categorise.
Into the mix comes the sheer virtuosity of each of the band members who are allowed the freedom to express their musical authority, and stamp their own personal magic to the song writing of Zoe and Rob. A testament to this chemistry is the sheer volume of music coming out of the band, and 'Exposed' will be Blue Commotion's third album in two years.
Zoe's unique, yearning vocal style is blended with Rob's ability to come up with catchy vibrant riffs and musical arran...

Clutching At Straws are a multi-talented and diverse alternative folk trio, hailing from the ‘creative county’ of Staffordshire. Clutching At Straws use an impressive variety of instruments to build a full, layered sound suffused with subtlety and their influences are diverse and eclectic with hints of everything from the irony of bluegrass through to the drama of musical theatre.
Clutching At Straws‘ musical idiosyncrasies are more than matched by the real coup de theatre of their original lyrics. Real life observation and experience lend themselves to songs that are deep and meaningful, digging into the fundamental questions of human existence, juxtaposed by songs full of hyperbole conferring a dry English humour laced with a healthy dose of tongue in cheek satirical soliloquies, that are often intentionally subversive.
Straws’ live shows are brimming with energy and audience interaction. Coupled with their lyricism, this interaction in...
At the heart of every Earcandy act is a simple philosophy.
Life isn’t about facts and figures. It’s about feelings. The moments that shape who we are, moments that bring us together. These moments are what we live for.
That’s why our musical team buck the trend and develop our acts from scratch. They are a manifestation of our passion and collective experience in the record industry; each one designed to leave you and your guests speechless.
The result? Acts that redefine what ‘function entertainment’ should be.
Experience Earcandy entertainment and you’ll see what the fuss is about.
We are a London-based bluegrass/ country band. We play old traditional tunes and songs of the bluegrass greats such as Bill Monroe, Del McCoury, and Doc Watson, and we also love the music of Gillian Welch, Tim O'Brien, Darrel Scott, Chris Thile, Michael Daves...and many more. Our music is great for parties and events, where you might want some upbeat foot-stomping music to dance to.

It wouldn’t be unfair to say The Crutwell’s have been around a bit (musically speaking, of course). Between them, Andi and Nico have procured recording and publishing deals, penned top UK Chart Hits for the BBC, written and produced for companies such as Fox USA, 19 Entertainment, Decca Records and Universal and toured with likes of The Pogues and The Stranglers… This doth make a fine brew!
Now, their new guitar/violin duo is here to bring you a fantastic set of acoustically reinvented classics, utilising all their experience and swagger to sonically set your night on fire! Bringing both humour and professionalism, these guys are must for any venue that loves great acoustic music. Strictly no backing tracks, The Crutwell’s aren’t just keeping acoustic music live... they are keeping it alive, and God bless em’ for it.
You can book us as solo (acoustic guitar and vocals) or a duo (acoustic guitar, violin and two vocals) or even just the vi...
We are Dr Butler’s Hatstand Medicine Band, a travelling troupe of musicological minstrels, peddling our unique good-time tonic to all four corners of the land. Made from a secret combination of early blues and jazz forms, a sprinkle of ragtime, a dash of hot swing, the essence of sweet spiritual, a pinch of the oldest of old-timey melodies and a teaspoon of Vaudevillian and Music Hall showoffery, all whisked together with the most esoteric of folk rhythms. The result is a surpassingly melodious music which is replete with tones of joy and fulfilment. This harmonic medicine is a natural aid to titillation and is a guaranteed restorer of vitality, vim and vigour.
Allow us present to you our good-time rags and reels, show stoppers and sight stealers; music for foot stomping and toe tickling that joins hearts with flesh whilst invigorating the thinking mind. We stand before you as harbingers of gentility, bearers of ingenuity, possessors of con...
I'm running a real ale event for local Breweries at the Royal British Legion in Tidworth in Wiltshire.

The event is taking place in the evening on the Thursday 27th October.

This is a special event for the end of Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service before they merge with Dorset Fire on 1st April.

I have just been appointed as the new landlady of a pub in Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon, and getting St Patricks day right is one of my first concerns is that no entertainment has been arranged for St Patricks day!
Could you give me some quotes for any available bands or even duos that you have.
I want the feel to be lively but covering classics like Irish Rover, Dirty ol' town and Whisky in the Jar - a fiddle player is key!
Hi - i would like a quote for Tony Tyler swing. I have looked at his page and he has a good range of music particularly the Frank Sinatra tribute and swing style music.
I would like a basic quote and also a quote if he could be accompanied by a quartet swing band. It will be for a wedding reception for perhaps 1.5/2hrs so a mix of classic tunes and ones to get people dancing would be fantastic. It would be in the Swindon, Wiltshire area.
is a charitable organisation, who are celebrating 30 years in business. We are hosting a staff 80's party on Saturday 5th December and would like a live band to play a variety of 80's classic pop songs (something for everyone/all tastes). 2 x 45 minute sessions. Party due to start around 7.00pm in centre of Bradford (BD1). I would like an idea on the type of music played and costs for the evening. Thank you.
If your looking for probably the best ABBA tribute group then look no further ! Book these band if they are not already booked ! We have tried to book them for or event for the last 2 years ! however they are booked years in advance. I can certainly see why, I was absolutely blown away with their performance and stage presents. They even sound Swedish on stage but very normal to chat to before and after the show. Sam was very efficient and nothing was to much trouble. Sam sent the all the relevant information required and the band arrived on time ( Early actually) and they sound checked all before the crowds arrived.
Abba reborn are defiantly worth the money and you certainly get what you paid for, a professional band that will entertain all. I could go on and on about the comments for guests and how the kids were absolutely star struck, JUST BOOK THEM !! you will not be disappointed and thats a promise.
Referring to your request for testimonials about Spinach For Norman's performances please find below some quotes:
1. Wow! What a spectacular evening you gave us. our guests are all converted ceilidh fans - a lot of them had never tried one before and they absolutely loved it. I'm sure you felt the atmosphere too - such joy and celebration was a real high for everyone.
Thank you for your energy, enthusiasm and time. We will never forget the magic you created for us - thank you so much.
2. We would like to say a massive and sincere THANK YOU to you all for playing and calling at our wedding at Dartington. We both had such, such good fun - it was my most enjoyable part of the day, and every time I looked around on the dance floor everyone I saw had a massive grin on their (sweaty!) faces. Quite a few non-dancers even got up a few times, so you must have had quite an effect on them!
I hope that we'll be able to come along to one of your dances again soon, or perhaps organize one for our friends and family at some point in the future.
3. I would like to start by saying that we can't recommend this band highly enough. They played at our wedding in June this year. Not only are they a group of extremely talented musicians but they are very friendly and helpful as well. The quality of music is excellent and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it.
My family are Greek, so at the wedding, during the band's break, we thought we would play a CD of some Greek music and dance to it. We couldn't get the CD to work but the band had figured out the tune, so, during their break they played it for us. which was just amazing. We are still so thankful to them!
Natasha and I would like to thank you personally for how amazing you were that night and for making the night so personal and memorable for us. Thank you!
Thank you so much for making my son’s wedding the fabulous party that it turned into in the evening! That was all down to you guys making the whole place jump! Your music was exactly what we wanted for the Vintage style wedding and everyone, young and old have been talking about ‘the band’ since the event!
