Planning your wedding is difficult at the best of times, let alone when there is a pandemic going on, everything is closed and the future is so uncertain. But, that doesn’t mean it can’t be done! We have tons of clients who have booked services for their future weddings with us, and we can’t wait to see them having the time of their lives on their wedding day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Niccola and Paul<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Niccola and Paul started planning their wedding right at the beginning of the outbreak of COVID-19, and didn’t let the pandemic put them off getting ready for their big day. So, in mid-April 2020 this couple visited a number of venues which were still open, with social distancing in place and were able to set their future wedding date: The 9th of July 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This couple have chosen to have a more relaxed wedding; a full day affair with delicious food vans and live music. We can’t wait to see how it goes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Has Your Event Planning Through COVID-19 Been?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We were very lucky to be able to get the venues that we wanted. The best part was that were able to visit them in person with social distancing practices in place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall COVID-19 hasn’t affected our wedding planning so much, our deposits have all been paid already and we got bookings from all of the suppliers that we wanted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Has Lockdown Added Extra Pressures?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Luckily for us it hasn’t. We have just been a little worried that suppliers wouldn’t still be around, but we are staying hopeful. All of the suppliers have kept in touch constantly, to see whether our plans are still standing and to let us know nothing has changed for them, so that has been very reassuring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Made You Confident That You Could Go Ahead With Your Wedding Planning?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We haven’t really been worried about our date because it is so far in advance. Luckily, we haven’t had any issues booking suppliers and so far everything has gone very smoothly with booking, even through the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Did You Think of Poptop?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We booked a number of things through Poptop because the website kept coming up on Google while we were searching for services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Poptop is really great! Very helpful and straight on with emails and replies. Suppliers contacted us straight away and kept in touch with us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Have You Found Wedding Planning During COVID-19?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The current date of our wedding hasn’t had to be changed at all due to the pandemic and we are so excited for our wedding to take place. The countdown is now on and you can view updates on our wedding site<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Challenges Have You Faced?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

It has been a bit difficult. The most difficult parts of the wedding planing have been getting the wedding cars organised and finding dresses for the bride and bridesmaids. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had to change the company of the wedding cars, which has definitely been the hardest part of the planning. I can’t visit the shop where I will be getting my wedding flowers from either, which has been difficult. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Have Your Venue and Service Providers Dealt With It?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

They have done a fantastic job. Their help along with my faith and belief that the pandemic will get better and our wedding will go ahead have made me feel confident in my wedding planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Has Your Experience With Poptop Been?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Our experience with Poptop has been fantastic. I trust the company and was able to make multiple bookings through Poptop because it is the safest way of making bookings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
