Recent review: Blag played a Ceilidh for my 50th Birthday party on Saturday. We had a fantastic time and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The calling was very clear and the music brilliantly played. I specifically wanted an event where young and old, keen and not so keen dancers would all participate and that was achieved to the enjoyment of everyone. Thank you so much. The communication before the event was clear and helpful - David answering all sorts of detailed questions that I had. I can thoroughly recommend Blag to ensure a great event.

Recent review: We booked Anthony for our first crafting event at the Marriott Peterborough in November, after looking through options provided by various agents. What Anthony offered was just what we - and our delegates were after. Not only was he self-sufficient (along with Nicky), he also was able to be flexible with times - and managed to read the audience very well within minutes. In terms of the act - what a voice! An authentic example of the 'great American Songbook'. All in all - I would highly recommend Anthony for your event, if you want the evening to start and end with a swing..!

Recent review: Abdul was absolutely amazing at our office summer party! Abdul was so engaging and enthusiastic, it was a delight from the beginning till the very end. Everyone loved the range of songs he played and we could all tell how passionate he was playing the steel pan. He is very professional, friendly and passionate. He added so much energy to the party. Recent review: The event was great. Monika and Blue Orchid were exactly what we required for a family party of mixed ages, teens to nineties. The sound was just right and the professionalism great. Recent review: Halos came to play at our wedding and they were absolutely INCREDIBLE! We really just can't recommend them enough - they totally brought the party for the evening. Both myself and my husband as well as all of our guests had an absolutely incredible time - our guests have talked about it as one of their favourite parts of the day. They were so flexible with their set list and the DJ was just perfect on the evening, playing lots of requests to keep our guests happy. The lead vocalist has to have a shout out - what a voice!! Thanks so much to the Halos for being part of our day and being utterly, utterly brilliant - everyone should book this band!

Recent review: Daniel and his London Swing & Soul Band played at our wedding last August. We spent absolutely ages looking for the right band, and we were losing heart, until we saw this band in action. Simply awesome. The most amazing repertoire, which was great for us because our guests ranged from 4 to 84, and there was something for everyone, even traditional Jewish wedding dances (which we wanted even though our wedding was not religious in any way). Daniel supplied a jazz trio for the daytime (which was excellent), he played keyboard during the actual ceremony (and it was beautiful), then we opted for an 8 piece band for the reception, which was fabulous. So many of our guests commented afterwards about how much they loved our band. Three of our guests are professional musicians themselves, one teaches at the Royal Academy of Music, and one is musical director for the Ritz hotel in London, and they both said the band was fantastic. PLUS ours was a same-sex wedding, and it was important for us to feel comfortable with everyone involved. Daniel is really lovely, and it was a pleasure to have him be such a big part of our perfect day. Thanks Daniel and The London Swing & Soul Band - absolutely, unreservedly recommended, we could not possibly fault you in any way, Sarah & Sabina xx

I received numerous compliments about the band from my guests and I would highly recommend them! They were punctual, professional, very friendly and adaptable enough to be able to respond to the crowd, getting eveyone up dancing & creating a fantastic atmosphere!! We had quite a few swing dancers at the party and Monika was even willing and able to put a 'swing style' to much of their music, which was fantastic & very well received!!
