Recent review: The Hosen Brass Band was great. They attended our Christmas Carol concert on December 20th. There was so flexible, and played the music that we asked for them to play. I would definitely recommend them for future events.
we have recently opened our Fanzone on matchdays, where we host live bands, I want to check if you are available for Saturday 19th December, this would be between the hours of 12-3pm, with 2 x half hour slots ? please let me know your thoughts, and also if available the costs ? this is Christmas theme day.
We would like to organise a ceilidh at the Cuan Mor brewery bar - http://www.cuanmor.co.uk/venue-function-room/ - on 21 February 2016. We will arrive at the bar at around 20hr30-21hr00 and would like music until around 23hr30.
We are getting married on the 4th March 2017 at Carlowrie Castle in Kirkliston and want a non traditional band. All out guests are english and not familiar with the traditional songs that normally accompany a ceilidh. We are looking for pop/rnb covers if possible.
We're getting married in Glasgow 5 mins from the city centre on the 4th March 2017.
I was hoping to surprise my wife to be with a band to restart the party after the break in the evening for about 30 mins. With such a short set I was hoping for an acoustic set to maximise the surprise.
She loves Mariachi bands, as well as the Mariachi covers of modern songs (like the Dorito adverts). Its a bit of a long shot at this late stage and this might not be possible at all. But was just looking for a quote, as you can imagine planning and paying for a wedding is costly!
The venue is German themed, so a german band may work if mariachi isn't available, if they can do covers.
We have already booked a DJ for our wedding and would like to include a 30 minute ceilidh set and we are in need of a caller as the DJ cannot do this. It would be around 8pm in the evening. No instruments necessary!
Xavier and the guys were fantastic, they got the party going and were really good fun. We had a great time and they definitely helped to set the mood right. I would recommend Mariachi Rey to anyone - good times !!
A wonderful ensemble - their performance was joyful, slick and carefree all at once. Each of the musicians were very talented and charismatic in their own right, making for a very professional group. We booked them for our university ball and everyone loved their Cuban sound. A really lovely and easy going group of people too, I'd highly recommend booking Cafecito for any sort of event when you want people up on their feet dancing, or to create a sophisticated and fun summery atmosphere." - Alice, Magdalen College, Oxford
