Based in London/East Midlands, but will travel all over UK! Cafe Manouche are a young Gypsy jazz & swing band formed by three brothers, perfect for that special event.

Playing music from 1910- 1920s to 1950s, including Parisian Waltzes, hot swing and touches of latin and bossa nova...(We also play a lot of music from 1910-1920!) Played in the distinctive style of gypsy jazz guitar legend Django Reinhardt.

Cafe Manouche's music is perfect for many occasions and suits most venues; Weddings, private parties, Great Gatsby parties, garden parties, festivals, vintage themed events (1920s-50s), swing dance events,afternoon tea, Sunday lunchtimes, late night bars, cafes, hotels, casinos and many more...

The band have played hundreds of private parties and Weddings and are perfect for any time of day!

Cafe Manouche can tailor their music sets to just one genre but specialise in being diverse in their range of styles.

These guys were the perfect group to play for us on the evening of our wedding. They were professional, fun and played beautifully the whole evening. We danced all night long. Nathalie has a stunning voice. We have had so many people come and tell us just how much they enjoyed everything. We couldn't be happier and would love to do it all again. Thank you all very much.

Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about! Natalia sang beautifully all through our wedding day celebration, and I'm not surprised she had so much praise from the guests. You all selected the perfect music for what we wanted, and got the whole crowd on their feet to dance.

The lunchtime party I had for my 21st birthday featured these guys, a bassist and a couple of guitarists. I've never had such a good time at a party! HUGE HUGE thanks for everything and for putting such big smiles on everyone's faces. I'd love to book these guys again sometime!

    We are an authentic Jazz and Gypsy Swing band who can bring a truly unique and special atmosphere to any event.

    We enjoy all of our shows, we love playing big theatres but also really love playing at peoples weddings, parties and events.

  • What is your competitive advantage (special features)?

    We are an authentic band who genuinely love what we do. We have all been obsessed with this music for a long time. our band is made up of three brothers so we are tight and gel together effortlessly. We are a band that really lives and breaths this music, if you want a gypsy jazz act that really swings you are in the right place!

  • What kind of events do you usually serve?

    We play all kinds of events. We are a very popular wedding band and we create a really special atmosphere for a drinks reception. We also love to play for birthday parties, garden parties, and corporate events.

  • How can event planners pay for your services?

    Please feel free to get in touch. Not only do we run cafe Manouche but we also work with countless acts including some of the best musicians and entertainers around. We are able to book, DJs, bands, Magicians and all kinds of entertainment.

  • How long do you play for?

    We usually play 2 x 50 min sets over a max period of 3 to 4 hours. We are also happy to play 3 x 40 min sets if preferred.

  • Do you have your own PA and lighting?

    Yes we provide our own equipment. We do have lighting so please ask if you would like this.

  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment?

    Yes we are fully insured and all of our equipment is PAT tested.

  • How much space do you require?

    We can fit into a fairly small space 3m by 2m would be plenty.

  • My favourite tune is not on your list. Will you be able to play it?

    We do sometimes play requests if it is in keeping with our style. Feel free to ask!

  • How many breaks do you take? How long are they?

    We are really flexible with all aspects of your booking. We usually stay on site for a max period of 3 to 4 hours so breaks can be worked out accordingly. For a typical event our breaks would usually be between 15 and 30 mins.

Ever changing large repertoire of Jazz standards, french waltzes, traditional Gypsy songs, latin bossa-nova, 1920s songs,1930s & 40s swing, and 50s style be-bop, and now retro Christmas songs!
